Getting a Little too Excited

Another shopping trip and still just looking at dresses in the local Good Will store.  I found a few I liked in my size off of just one rack.  What a great find.  I might go back soon to check out the rest of the racks.  Then I went into the dressing room to try them on and found that there were some shoes left behind.  I tried on this pair of black heels there and they fit just right, so they stayed on my feet through the whole session.  The excitement was starting to build, then I tried on this pretty blue dress.
It was a Simply Vera, by Vera Wang.  I now understand the allure of Vera Wang designs.  It was so pretty with the feel of that satin against my skin and the flowing skirt.
I was feeling wonderful wearing this dress with these heels.  In fact I was feeling a little too wonderful and the excitement almost caused me to ruin this dress.  A little wet spot was beginning to develop on the front before I knew it.  I had to stop and get myself under control before this got out of hand.
As I look at these pictures, I now understand why the question often comes up, "Does this dress make me look fat?"  The pictures do not do it justice.

There are a few things I should do the next time I go shopping.  I should wear panties and keep myself properly tucked with a pad to prevent any leakage from ruining any clothes.  I should also keep a pair of pantyhose on to wear in case I find some nice shoes, because, although these looked nice even with black socks, they would have looked much better with pantyhose and they could have also hidden some of that ugly hair all over my legs.

Still this would not stop me as I moved on to the next dress.  This was a black sheath that was so very nice.  It was that perfect little black dress I had always been looking for and it was a perfect fit.  It slid on and fit like a glove.  This is a great foundation garment.  I could just imagine the potential this has to match with tops, sweaters, belts, scarves, and all sorts of other accessories.  This is a must have for my feminine wardrobe.  Perhaps now that I have this foundation piece, I can begin to expand beyond dresses and start trying on those things to go with this dress.

The next dress was just a basic floral pattern dress, but very pretty.  The shoes didn't go that well with the pink floral pattern, but I continued to wear them anyway to build up experience walking in heels.

These were my favorite finds from this shopping trip. After all that time tyring on all those outfits, my feet were feeling a little sore from wearing such high heels.  I guess I will have to buy them and wear them around the house to build up my stamina for wearing such high heels.
